Yo Soy Yo

Ana Lía loves experimenting with different genres to express various facets of her personality. 'Yo Soy Yo' (I Am Me) is intended as a celebration of her individuality and the nuances that make her human.

Its seven songs represent the Ana Lía who loves herself, the one who lives with a perpetual nostalgia, the one who fears loss or suffers what she has already lost with vulnerability, the one who has felt betrayed, and the one who lives in love. She focuses particularly on Dominican and Afro-Caribbean genres: bambulá from Samaná, merengue rhythms fused with alternative, bachata, reggaeton, and Afrobeat.
